I was born and raised in Amana, Iowa — a place that believes in liberty, hard work, and small businesses. I learned early that if you want something fixed, you roll up your sleeves and do it yourself.

I’m running for Congress in Iowa’s 1st District because I’m tired of watching Washington ignore the people who actually keep this country running. Politicians talk big while our border stays open, our debt skyrockets, our farmers get crushed by regulation, and working families fall further behind.

​I started my career like many Iowans do — waiting tables, putting in long shifts on my feet, learning how to treat people with respect even when the day is rough. Those years taught me humility, perseverance, and just how hard everyday Iowans work to make ends meet.

 

Growing up in a small Iowa community taught me what true leadership looks like: show up, do the work, and serve others with integrity. I’m running for Congress in Iowa’s 1st District to defend our rural values, support our farmers, strengthen our economy, and keep government small, effective, and accountable. Iowa deserves a representative who listens, stands firm, and never forgets where they came from.
